Supporting young nigerien entrepreneurs through IOM’s IDEE project

The IOM project "Initiatives pour le developpement de l'Entreprise " (IDEE) met with its second group of beneficiaries on the 17th of January. Out of 560 applications, 442 were selected in the three intervention areas of the project, namely in Tahoua, Niamey and Zinder to be trained in business management and the development of a business plan.

After a rigorous selection by the committee, 25 project leaders from the Niamey area were selected to follow three months of pre-incubation training at CIPMEN. After these three months of training, an evaluation will be made by the selection committee, which will choose the companies able to benefit fully from the support proposed by the project. These young entrepreneurs will benefit from support from Capital Finance, The CIPMEN incubator and Terre Solidali, IOM's partners for the implementation of the IDEE project.

➡ IOM's Enterprise Initiatives Project (IDEE) is funded by the Agenzia Italiana for the Cooperazione allo Sviluppo.
