Hadiza is one of our 50 Community Mobilisers (MobCom) working across Niger to sensitize migrants about the risks of irregular migration and its alternatives. Accompanied by 13 other MobComs based in Agadez, she welcomes migrants to the IOM Orientation Office, but also regularly visits different ghettos.
Hadiza is also a former victim of trafficking and one of the many Nigerian girls who embark every year on the perilous journey abroad, deceived by false promises of a better life in Europe.
